Blue Bird House Instruction & Maintenance & Tree Planting.

With Phyllis Pryzby, local Naturalist and Elizabeth Kulas, Hebert Arboretum President. Meet on the porch at Springside House.

Bob Presutti will offer instruction on how to prune trees and shrubs for beauty and health. Followed by Concert - see below. Bring gloves and tools if you have them; some will be provided. Meet in the parking lot at Springside House.

A fantastic repertoire of Celtic folk. "Philharmonic" because this three person group uses a number of different instruments.

Ongoing Projects
Hebert Arboretum General Meetings
Hebert Arboretum General Meetings meet the second Thursday of each month at 6:30pm, except January, August and December. The public is welcome to attend.
The Arboretum is accepting new Board Members and volunteers.

Garden With Us
Learn with us, in hands-on instruction, as we beautify our park.

Join The Friends of Hebert Arboretum for a morning or afternoon gardening in the Hummingbird & Butterfly Garden, the Memory Garden and the other gardens.

Call Judy, Gardens Facilitator, 413-445-5540, for dates and times.
Bring tools and gloves, if you have them, some will be provided. Beginners welcome.
A bonus is that when the thinning of plants is done volunteers get to take home the extra plants.
Pruning With Bob
Learn how to prune trees and shrubs the second Tuesday of each month at 5PM.
Bob Presutti offers instruction on how to prune trees and shrubs for beauty and health.
Bring gloves and tools if you have them; some will be provided. Meet in the parking lot at Springside House.
Adopt A Garden

There are a number of small gardens that are available for adoption.

Become a Friends of Hebert Arboretum by adopting a garden. Assistance and direction will be provided.

Lilac Walk & Daffodil Hill

Daffodil Hill is an ongoing project where daffodils are planted every year with the intention of filling the hill below the Lilac Walk, overlooking Pittsfield, with daffodils. If you'd like to be part of this project call us. We'd love to hear from you.
